The Ori 3.0 feels like a reinvention. It takes ZMF’s heritage of warmth, timbre, and craftsmanship and infuses it with electric energy and visceral slam. While the Caldera may surpass it for smoothness, the Ori delivers a unique combination of body, punch, and musicality that sets it apart in the $2,000 tier, or heck, any tier. I really think that summit-fiers ought to audition this. This is what a fun closedback ought to sound like.
For me, it is one of the most enjoyable headphones out there.

The Ori 3.0 struck me by surprise in a positive way. They are much more refined and balanced, a lot more tasteful than I expected. There is a good amount of bass, but not like on bass-heavy consumer headphones. This bass is tasteful, refined, detailed — and adjustable! For me, the Ori 3.0 would be the easiest pick in the $2,000 price segment, a winner I’d choose without hesitation. They don’t sound closed, yet they isolate. You get planar technicalities but with ZMF timbre. 3D positioning is excellent.
